KEITH FREEMAN
With more than 30 years of private equity experience, Keith leads a diverse portfolio of investments—partnering with industry leaders, guiding companies at every stage, and driving growth through strategic insight and operational excellence.
Keith is a Managing Director at Advantage Capital, where he helps to oversee the firm’s Private Equity Fund. Prior to joining Advantage, he launched the Chicago office of AGR Partners, a fund specializing in food and agribusiness investments. In 2009, he co-founded Torch Lake Capital Partners, providing financial and operational support to companies in the consumer, industrial, and business services sectors.
Earlier in his career, Keith was a Founder and Managing Director at Hilco Equity Partners. He also held key roles as Vice President at Gryphon Investors and at GE Capital’s Merchant Banking Group. He began his professional journey as an Analyst at NationsBank (now Bank of America) and has served on numerous corporate boards throughout his career.
Keith received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Miami University.
